Ingredients
  

  • For the Churro Layer:
  • 2 cans 8 oz each crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • For Topping:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture
  • In a small bowl, mix ½ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Step 3: Layer the Crescent Dough
  • Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Lightly press the seams together to seal the dough into a solid sheet.
  • Step 4: Make the Cheesecake Filling
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the bottom crescent dough layer.
  • Step 5: Top with Second Dough Layer
  • Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the cheesecake layer.
  • Gently press the edges to fit.
  • Step 6: Add Cinnamon Sugar Topping
  • Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
  • Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon evenly over the top.
  • Step 7: Bake the Cheesecake
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden brown and slightly crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  • Step 8: Chill & Serve
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best results).
  • Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking.
Let it fully chill before cutting for cleaner slices.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheating: Enjoy cold, or warm up individual slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
